Terms of Service

These are the terms for using VeryRare Media, the private platform run by Very Rare Society for its members. By signing in, you're agreeing to them.

Membership

Accounts aren't self-serve — they're set up by a Society administrator. Access is a privilege extended to members, not a public service, and can be limited or revoked at the administrator's discretion, including for sharing account access outside the Society or otherwise misusing the platform.

Personal use only

Everything on the platform — movies, shows, anime, music, live channels, and games — is for your own personal use as a Society member. None of it may be redistributed, re-uploaded, rehosted, or shared outside the Society. The games library specifically only serves titles the Society already owns; downloading from it doesn't transfer ownership or a license to anyone who isn't already a member.

Watch Together & Listen Together

Anyone with a room code can join a Watch Together or Listen Together session. Keep codes within the Society — they're not meant to be shared publicly. Chat within these rooms should stay respectful; abusive behavior can result in losing access.

No warranty

This is a self-hosted platform run on a best-effort basis, not a commercial service with an uptime guarantee. Content availability, streaming quality, and features may change or break without notice. It's provided as-is, without warranty of any kind.

Not affiliated with any studio

Very Rare Society and VeryRare Media are independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any film studio, network, publisher, or distributor.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the platform evolves. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
